My love for outdoor gatherings started young. Growing up, my summers were spent at Spruce Lake RV Park in Estes Park, Colorado, where the real adventure wasn't the scenery—it was the people. Those mountain evenings taught me that the best moments happen when you combine nature, good company, and wide-open spaces.

That passion has stayed with me. As a four-time Ironman finisher, I've spent years on open roads, in open water, and on trails. Whether I'm racing, fishing the lakes of Northern Wisconsin with my family, or exploring the Fox River, I'm happiest outside—especially when I'm sharing it with others.
I earned my degree from the University of Iowa and built my career in nuclear medicine and hospice care—work that taught me the profound value of human connection.

Five years ago, my husband and co-founder Doug and I moved to Trout Valley in Cary, Illinois—a vibrant golf-cart community where neighbors connect, explore, and gather in ways that reminded me of those Colorado summers. We'd watch friends load up their carts with coolers and hors d'oeuvres, heading down to the river for impromptu hangouts, and kept thinking: Why is this so hard? There has to be a better way.

That's how Golfresco was born.

We wanted to create something that makes it easier for people to do what we love most—get outside, bring friends and family together, and enjoy those spontaneous moments that become cherished memories. Golfresco isn't just about convenience; it's about connection, community, and celebrating the outdoor lifestyle.

Today, whether we're hosting neighbors by the river or heading out for a spontaneous sunset, Golfresco is right there with us—making those moments easier and better.
